“01/06/2015 This moving company is outstanding-I was skeptical that they would deliver all they promised but they did! Anthony, the owner, was willing to give me a written quote when no other moving company in Knoxville would. Due to no fault of the company, one of the workers had the flu the morning of the move but Anthony called me to let me know early that morning. He had to find a replacement but they got to my place pretty quickly. The 2 young men who moved me were polite and neatly dressed and treated my furniture like it was priceless antiques. There was not a nick or scratch on anything and no broken items. They worked quickly and got the job done in less time than I thought it would take. “5-19-2015 I had the pleasure of using this company to move my household from South Knoxville to Oak Ridge this past weekend. The whole experience was very pleasant and I was very happy with the service I received. Johnny and Rafael were our movers. Both men were polite, efficient and good-natured. They arrived on time, worked quickly with very little instruction (but weren’t afraid to ask questions) and were very careful with all of my belongings.
Anthony, the company’s owner, was easy to reach, both by phone and email. No deposit was required prior to the move and I was able to pay by credit card once the move was complete. The estimate I received was accurate with regard to the estimated time the move would take and, thus, the cost. There was also no additional charge for having the guys stop at 2 locations (the new house and a storage unit nearby).
In the interest of full disclosure, I try to make things as comfortable as possible for the movers whenever I have to hire them: I made sure that there was a cooler full of cold water and ice for them, and I bought them lunch as a thanks for their hard work. This has got to be one of the most thankless jobs a person can have and I’m sure that movers run into rude, stressed out people on many moves. Their hard work makes my life easier and I want to be sure they know how much I appreciate it!”
